Ta! i must find the 1st photo in the series some time and post it. it is so plain, just a flower in a small vase. the window light was perfect and off i went in macro mode.

Breathtaking!! This is the most beautiful image. I was at the Lake Barrine Teahouse only a couple of weeks ago. The paths along the lake in front of the teahouse were still under water from all the rain they have had. And that was a few weeks after the flooding!

Camera – Fuji FinePix S3000 (3.2 MP) – macro mode 6mm – exposure, unknown. That’s about all I can tell you other than I adjusted it’s levels marginally in photoshop to give it more snap.
What makes a photo outstanding is the quality of light, angle of light, and your minds’ eye and the ability to use what’s there; not the camera, the lens or anything else (though they help when you know what you’re doing) e.g. owning an expensive pen does not make one a better writer !:)
