Ciska, This is my absolute favourite of all your wonderful work to date. I love the colour and the scene is excellent. As You know I work with extreme poor in rural and remote villages in Africa. I have observed even in extreme poverty, love is so strong and very evident. Children and mothers are so special and I love to sit in the evenings and watch them with their children. This is outstanding Art at its very best

Thank you so very much for your compliment, it means alot to me, yes I did choose a very complex picture to learn to use oils, I don’t know what I was thinking, at first I was going to give up, but with some encouragement and advice on how to use oils correctly by a dear friend and teacher deb I decided it wasn’t going to beat me…..and this is what I come up with…....I am so very pleased with it!!!!
