Original work is available in my Etsy shop.

This painting features a moody palette of violet and crimson, offset with neutral shades of sand and burnt umber.

woman with an elaborate tattoo on her bicep, holds her legs against her chest, a sheet draped around her curled body. Her eyes closed, her head bent forward, and her face is expressionless. What is she thinking about?

This original artwork was done in high quality acrylic paints, on 16×20″ canvas board. The painting is signed on the front, and signed and dated on the back.

Beautifully painted; and love the tattoo design. So many stories can be interpreted from this painting; as well that tattoo can mean a lot of things – including a disguise – or solemn emotions hidden under elaborate garments. To me this tells a story of a woman who goes around town in elaborate dresses; covering not only her body but her mind, and her she reveals herself fully while pondering on her other self that she has painted on her bicep.
