disappointed
i just recieved mounted prints that i ordered and i am very disappointed with the quality. they were very over priced. they feel like they are worth $5 and i paid $50. they have a finish wich makes them show much glare. they are mounted on garbage. they don’t look terrible on the wall, but i could not send customers to redbubble to buy such inferior workmanship.

Sorry to hear about your order! I’ve only ordered cards and they are of excellent quality!

Yeah, I don’t offer mounted prints for sale because I think high gloss always looks horrible. I’m still pretty iffy about selling the canvas prints, in theory they should look cool. But it’s too hard to tell unless you see these items in person.

i have heard similar complaints about the glare coming from laminated prints and even the glass of the framed prints.

if your not happy with it you should contact redbubble that it bad..
and that your not satisfied with it..

The best quality are the prints and cards. I did not think that there was not too much glare when I framed three of my photographs. There is too much glare on mounted and laminated prints. Also I order one canvas to check the quality and the image was very good, but the way it was wrapped was of poor quality. It is not wrapped on the frame properly. The corners are not folded correctly so it does not looks professional. If I order another canvas print, I will write redbubble about my dissatisfaction. I am sorry to hear about your order, but it is great to share this information with other members before they have the same unfortunate experience.

I hate to criticise Redbubble as the structure of the site and it’s look is excellent, but compared to the site zazzle.com the print options are very limited – on zazzle you can opt for what sort of paper (matt or gloss) and edit the pictures on things like cards (for size in the frame I mean). Few of my pics are 7:5 format so on RedBubble it just chucks them in the middle which isn’t how I do it on zazzle… T-shirts available on zazzle are much better (I don’t even sell my images as tees here). That said the look of the site (zazzle) is dreadful and there are gigabytes of truly rubbish work – I combine the two – have a picture here but link to a Tee on zazzle…

I had no idea they had a gloss coating on them. I’ll have to change everything on my account and not offer those. Thanks for the heads up. I have also bought a card and they are excellent.

glad to read this as i ALSO hate the ‘gloss’ finish….....mat is what i very much prefer. too bad they haven’t offered that option when choosing a print.

Since they do offr a money back guarantee why not simply ask for your money back.
I have sold images through “Cafepress” but the quality of there t-shirts was very poor but when I complained they allowed me to keep them for nothing.
Big shame here about the gloss though.

well toasted ghost, i have an email into support and am waiting to hear. these guys here at redbubble seem smart. i would think they would want to put out a quality product. i would buy many prints and shirts if i was happy with the quality as i am sure others would as well. thanks for comments. i will let you know how it plays out.
