Really lovely, great stuff; looking at it, I feel good! (That’s not so easy these days.)

What’s the process, if I may ask? Is this by any chance a digital manipulation of a photograph of a wooden plank floor? Does it exist as a ‘real’ (First Life) object?

By the way, I have a question for you re: the Remodernist Painters’ group: would you like top delete your many supernumerary contributions and have this latest one be on our overview page for August?

  • ryan munson replied

hi carson. thanks for commenting. i don’t know what supernumerary means. is it a nice way to say rubbish? i would LOVE to be on the overview page for august. do you want me to remove all my posts or stop submitting?- the piece was originally a digltal pic of my back deck.

Rubbish? Not at all! No, As you may recall, I do not ‘feature’ art or hold ‘contests’ because the spirit of Remodernism is inclusive rather than exclusive, so 12 images of “Recent Work” are all that is shown on our overview page.

Those who contribute many more than one image per month are thus putting themselves at a disadvantage, because only your oldest work will appear on the overview page each month, and that for the shortest amount of time (about 12 hours).

Anyway, I’m always delighted to see new work from you. This one is particularly stunning.

Yes, everyone who has contributed vastly more than one image per month to the RPG would be well advised to delete the “oldies”.
