Lily Noir by

Original Creation Date: June 3rd, 2005

I was doing more of a ‘rough’, decaying sort of thing with this piece. Lily Noir would be referring to the fact that the weirdness beneath his eye is actually a radiographed (x-ray, i.e. inverted) lily that I flipped over and worked into the piece.

16″ × 20″, charcoal on paper, freehand. (90 lb. Canson)

Original available for purchase.
