my first uplaod:-D. i spotted a pretty brick red dragonfly in my backyard, they’re my fave animal/insect. so i thought this would be an appropriate first. bit blurry i know…i used my handy pocket digicam:-p
Better lighting on the dragonfly from this angle but still too dark to fully appreciate the insect’s beautiful design. The red is rich and mystic, with overtones of spice and blood. The shadow cements the main object to the secondary object (leaf). Good start!
Thanks Ken, this is actually a different dragonfly..this one is maroon/dark red, and the other one was red. I like the shadow thingy too:o).
