Wow! It’s been a year! Time flies. . .

A friend of mine, and fellow member, Stacy Rodriguez, suggested that I check out RB, so I did. I joined because of her and I have appreciated her recommendation everyday since.

I remember being so nervous when I posted my first shot and my second and my third. . .And thrilled beyond words when the first piece was FEATURED in a group. I continue to be in awe every time that happens. And my first piece to be sold. . .OMGosh! No words can describe the feeling I had and still do. Oh, what a feeling!!! I feel so very blessed and give all the credit to what talent I have to my Creator, my Lord & Savior. . .Jesus Christ.

One of the first people here to offer encouragement was Jennifer Craker. She is a co-host of the wonderful group Victorian Viewfinders. Jennifer was very complimentary, encouraging and was a big contributor in the building of my self confidence about my work. I will always remember her for that.

There are quite a few people here that I have befriended over this past year. Marjorie Wallace, Tokiko Anderson and Cee Neuner are three very talented artists that have not only encouraged me but have become treasured friends as well. It’s people like these that have made this last year on RB a fun and rewarding experience.

To all of the fantastic group hosts – my hats off to you! All the time and support that you give voluntarily for all of us artists – YOU PEOPLE ROCK ! For all of the features you have bestowed upon me – THANK YOU. So many wonderfully talented artists have given me encouragement and have placed me on their watch list and/or my work in their favorites. I am truly honored and humbled by each and every one. These are some of the very best compliments I could ever receive and I thank you all with all of my heart.

I have witnessed so much compassionate unity and support when a fellow RedBubbler has suffered sorrow in some way. It’s awesome the way everyone comes together. With all of the negativity in the world today, I am always amazed and impressed by the camaraderie. It’s refreshing, heartwarming and reinstates my faith in my fellow human beings.

I am sad to say that I have not personally met anyone that I have befriended here because you all are very special and unique to me. Perhaps one day we will meet face-to-face, it would be an honor. Until then I am genuinely thankful that I have had the pleasure of meeting you here.

My sincerest thanks to all of you that have supported me and my work this past year. Without you it would have all been for naught. What an amazing journey this has been and may the adventure continue. . .
