give ‘em up mate…i did it…you can too!!!i started when i was 12…..and i’m 43…..gave up at 24…..almost 20 years ago…back then i was smokin’ a pack a day….it went something like this…
2 pre-brek…...
2 for brekky….
2 before work….
2 for morn tea,
2 for lunch,
2 for afternoon tea…
5 before dinner….
2 for dessert….
3 watching tv…..
2 pre-bedtime snacks
and i have the lungs to prove it :(
(no pressure or nothin’....lol) :D

lol I wont even tell ya my regiment ( or how many a day :( ) but its severely cut back while my daughters here since I smoke outside . Quitting smoking I think is really sumthin you have to WANT to , anyone I know that quit because of pressure to do so , alwasy went back , but the people I know that really wanted to quit had a much easier time… guess Im still not quite ready …lol but now that theyre $7/pack here in New York … its starting to look like a good idea ..lol

Gotta be done dear. This one (although very funny) does hit home a bit.
My own Steve (my husband) had to be treated for throat cancer all last year.
he has been given the all-clear
but you can bet your “lil britches” that I’m making sure he attends his no-smokey clinic and sticks to it.
He’s now 4 months without a ciggy and all the better for it.
But he was a pig to live with for the first month. I could have cheerfully strangled him during his “cold turkey” time.
