love the white flowers with the soft green and pink it in the middle , against the background or black , and red with the hint of blue and pink , and ho the flowers just fade as you move toward the end of the canvas , love it well done
Thank you Mel… I was a bit vague with my description and neglected to mention the branch was waving in a breeze and the only light was from the patio so I wanted to create a feeling of light being thrown onto the garden, hitting the florals and still keepig the overall effect of the dark sky… thanks for commenting : )
This is quite a departure from your figurative work although it’s still busy and detailed. The crimson is a perfect base and it is very suggestive of a Chinese silk embroidery. It would make the most fantastic tapestry for the plush, red carpeted entrance of a swish hotel if you could get a tapestry workshop to make it up.

Beautiful work Carmen. I think the dark red background looks lovely. Nice detail.
