Carmen, I have to comment on this not only because your dog shares the same name as me, but also because it is such a totally cool shot. Maybe not the most oroginal angle, but certainly one of the most orignal takes on the anlge. Can’t explain it, but your shot brings out such a soulful character, I can understand why he’s so special to you. Love it!

Thank you to everyone who recently commented on this and who I haven’t gotten around to thanking as yet. Billy-Boy, you are right about the soulful expression – it’s is over used tool for getting a hell of a lot of love and cuddles. My very spoilt angel without wings! He he!!

We used to have a grey wippet called Zero, he had the same look & was very talkative around dinnertime

My Friend has been battling the local council for almost 6 months – all she want’s to do is open a doggy day care centre. For those who haven’t heard the news yet, Belmont council voted no to my application to open a doggy day-care – six votes to four. It is rather complicated, and many of those voting told me personally they would have liked to vote yes. (they were too gutless to do so) This is not the end of things – I will either take this to the tribunal or open in another suburb – but this could be a long and drawn out process. Even though I don’t have a day-care I have a really good web site which you are all welcome to visit. www.daycarefordogs.com.au For those in the local area, the Southern Gazette has again penned a story about me and my doggy day-care and it will be in next Tuesdays paper. I am hoping it will be as positive as the last story they did

Billy and I just want to say (especially after just visiting your website) to hang in there. Billy is in agreement and after sampling your dog biscuits and seeing what you have on offer that he would like support you 101% and campaigne against Belmont council’s decision. As a resident of Carlisle he is highly insulted and dissapointed in the councils decision to the point that he feels we should move! I have told him all is not lost, and that everything happens for a reason. I sense his doubt and although totally out of character he has reverted to being a rather sulky dog. Never the less, for the sake of my sanity and more importantly, Billy’s… and all the hopes held by ALL the dogs and pooches here in Carlisle, Vic Park & The Shire Of Belmont, we have no doubt that this case is not yet lost!

We stand by you hard and fast and if troops are needed, please don’t hesitate to call on us.

Billy has asked me to include his latest portrait in the hope that his soulful eyes will bring hope and endurance to you and your beloved Pokey.

got a friend over here that runs a home for retired greyhounds…they are the greatest friendlest dogs youl meet…nice perspective here

I love this, such a great look on his face. And it’s a great angle, we see dogs from this angle a lot. I have a somewhat similar one of my dog, I’ll have to find it and upload it.

My cat pablo (pecato) jumped up on my computer desk, saw Billy-Boy and fell off rolling around on the carpet laughing, got over it and asked me for a print to show his mates on the tiles tonight. just love the face. great shot Carmen
