For those of you who read my journal recently and how chuffed I was about getting a water lily in my new fishpond… the inspiration is pretty obvious. Also, it was good to experiment using the acrylic in a different way – and I love the spiritual symbolism of the lotus flower.

This is really stunning Carmen! I love the colours and textures of the water as a backdrop for the beautiful flowers. The fish are a real bonus for me though, love the fluid shapes… fantastic!
