It seems popular. David said it’s an award winning piece (?) personally I find it a bit depressing – but I find all my blue paintings depressing.

thanks girlfriend… it took a long time, layers and layers… and not the joyful uplifting fun work you do, but everything has it’s place and I am glad (and surprised) at the appreciation I have received for this work. I had thought it might not be finished, but judging from the comments, maybe it is?

Funny, when I paint with blue I never seem to really like that painting, I am so surprised by the reaction this has had, but it goes to show, an artist is not a good critic of their own work sometimes. Thanks for adding me to your w.list – your’e in mine too : )

I am really surprised at how much of a response this one is receiving. I didn’t really like it (blue and depressing) but it’s really starting to take on new value to me thanks to all the feedback.
