... but I might explore the theme of the elements, air, water, wind & fire.

Acrylic on Canvas. I needed a break from all the red on the Cossack painting and thought I’d just play today. : ) I think this is finished but I’ll probably come back and sharpen up a few ares when it’s dry enough to rest my hand on it. It’s difficult getting those nice sharp lines when your hand is in mid air!

seems to work as a mounted print quite nicely.

I like the blue, how about “Quiet Blue” or “Still Blueness” or “Deeper than Blue”...just a few. I am about to download my first abstract in a while. Its a monotype print, did it yesterday in class….mmmm, check it out. I think a series of four for the season is a great idea. I personally love series.

Hi Billy, Thanks. Actually I would like a name without
“Blue” in it, but I quite like “The Quiet” or “Stillness”. I’ll think about it. Have fun with your abstract. Oh, and I love your new profile pic by the way ; )

My daughter thinks that the dark blue in the middle looks like a bullet hole with blood seeping out of it, there goes the whole quiet and stillness aspects for me! Damn, thats what I see now too! Sorry, we aren’t a great deal of help are we. Hope we didn’t ruin it for you.

to me this looks like like a door with a glass panel , hence I would call it the ‘the night light glow ” Nice work by the way , it;s good to let some freedom into your work , quite often these works turn out to be the artists best.

Have had a look with fresh eyes and I can see a port hole in a boat looking out. Being blue it gives an icy feel so my suggestions for a title would be “Arctic Portal”, “Arctic View”, “Winter Window”, you know where I am heading!

I can really see that port hole having spent the am taking shots of boats, and the bullet with the blood, that was pirates@! It’s lovely Carmen.

Hi ya Carmen…When I saw this, I felt like I was in The Lobby of Pimary Colors, this one being blue – and the one probably most people start with. But I can also see one in yellow and red! Hope you find a name real soon. Hey, how did the art show go?

Carmen…one more thought…if you turn this so the right side is on the bottom, it almost looks as if you are a child peering through a couple of glass windows on board a ship, looking out at the water. ;-)
