Despair
Another poem that I wrote as a teen….
sometimes I wonder if I would have qualified as an Emo??? lol
Despair belongs to the following groups:
Pleasure & Pain and WMG“Despair draws you down,
into the blackest well.
Filling you with the aching loneliness
of the forgotten myths.
A sorrowful taste
of forbidden fruit.
The echoing of a lone voice
in a labyrinth of pain.
Its stench is of the sweet stench of ones life force,
ever flowing from the never closing wounds of the past.
Your mind forever walks
towards the distant light of hope.
And yet…

yea i thought so too… i think i had written it when my boyfriend at that time had broken up with me….
and of course that warrants such a dark feeling like despair…lol
