    • Brilliant work my friend…and I can see why! There’s no doubt about it, it is hard to go past the Sony alphas!!!!! I’m saving for a 350 or, if all my dreams come true, a 700 with Carl Zeiss macro!!!
Ah well, a girl’s gotta dream! lol!

But all brand loyalty aside, this is a simply stunning shot. I adore the brilliantly coloured reflections on the water, the contrast of city lights and skyline against the dark night sky, the shine on the water vs. the dull clouded backdrop.
Dark and light, soft and sharp, such a delight for the eyes!!!!!..xxxxxxxxxOoOO

keep up the awesome work sweetie!

    : )))))))))))))))))))))))))))

by the way, have you submitted this to the Sony Shooters Group?

  • Thank you Jan… wow what a review!
We are quite fond of our Sony…
and eventually plan on getting another body… probably an upgrade from this one….if not the same one… we really love the 14.2 MP that this one has… though if there is one problem that we have had to work with is the noise in low light such as pre dawn shots… we are getting it though, just takes a lot more adjusting before hand,,, and as you know, the sun rises fast… so one sometimes has to trade quality for quantity when it comes to that sort of thing…lol

    yea i have posted it… just awaiting aproval… at least i think i did…lol

one of these days we are gonna have to meet face to face, i think we would have a great time playing with camera’s and talking at arvo tea sometime!!!!

    thanks again

That would be amazing!!! And yes, I think we’d have a great time comparing notes, cameras, techniques etc…as well as just chatting.
Unfortuantely you’re just a tad north of me…I live in Wagga, not far from the Vic boarder, but we do get up to Nthn NSW, Gold coast, as well as Brisbane and Sunshine Coast sometimes. I hail from Murwillumbah originally, and we still have a lot of family in the area, including Brisbane…Know what you mean about noise and predawn etc…
Yep…I’d love to catch up…..but until then (whenever ‘then’ is)…thank you so much for your wonderful reply.
