The Irresistible Sea
Taken at Kings Beach, Caloundra, QLD
4/04/2009
Well it had been a bit since we had taken the time to wake up early and grab a sunrise, too bad that this was the best it really got…. at least 40 mins after the sun actually peeked over the horizon… we alternately had to run from the high tide and hide the camera from spuratic rain showers…
there were however some interesting cloud plays and the wind and waves really were kicking up a fuss …
the waves had no sense of direction and were coming in at crazy angles to eachother, and crashing over the rocks…
Finally the sun breaks through
Perhaps not the best Dawn Shoot, but it was exhilarating with the wind and rain blowing us and seeing the layers of clouds as they moved swiftly across the ever changing sky.
Beautiful!
