    Yea it has been like that, lots of practice, and better equiptment (not that I am knocking back your “original” digital cam, it was cool to learn with and certainly “retro”! lol)
    but really, it has been so great to learn more than point and shoot,,,
    I cant wait till we get an actual macro lens…. then I will really be in heaven! lol
