Migration

Taking the core elements from my pencil drawings Cacophony
The Tall Grass
and The Calling
comes this RedBubble exclusive image.
I was thinking about the mysterious ways of nature and the push and pull of magnetic forces.

Cynthia Lund T... replied
Hi Lynnette.

Yes, I am a fan. Also of many others – from very abstract to very detailed.
Sebastiaan Koenen
Great idea Cynthia! Did you use photo’s or did you draw this?
Cynthia Lund T... replied
Hello Sebastiaan,
THIS particular piece is made digitally by using scans of three of my pencil drawings. The originals were all drawn. I just wanted to see what a little mix and match would look like.

Oh, thank you so much.
I fell in love with that face and can’t stop drawing it. I find it taunting me all the time to try to figure out what it’s saying.

Extraordinary..
The Three Graces bewildered by the imprisionent of their souls..
nesting shadows of freedom.
Watchers of the woods naked and muted…like winter.

Oh – I like that – step in Keith – hello, yes, we don’t bite (or do we?) – we like it when people put their eyes very close because we sometimes let out a little poof of a “Hi!” to see what happens…

Love that of “Resident Poet”... no one had called me that… It sounds impressive! wow!!!! I humble accept the naming.
As for the poems… you can do it.. they are yours…and would be a real honor…encouring my “already-altered-flattered-ego-in-need-for-more”.
A kiss for you… artist!
Rosa
Cynthia Lund T... replied
There you go – poem on top of poem!
I can’t believe no one has called you Resident Poet yet! You are and you are.
Kiss back,
C,

oh! – this reminds me of the tree of life, the arabic one with all the beautiful birds. i can’t believe i missed this one earlier! just gorgeous.
Cynthia Lund T... replied
I had no idea. I work in such darkness. Now I must investigate. Thank you so much dear j.

So who exactly has migrated? The birds to the mystifying tree where the captured souls wait? Perhaps the souls have found the birds. Or perhaps it is the artist… or the viewer… whose migration is most necessary.
Cynthia Lund T... replied
I ponder your questions. You may know more about it than I.
Peter Allton
Interesting work. With fantastic detail. Well done.
