Wild Sweet peas & Butterfly Wings by

I took this tiger swallowtail on a day-trip photo shoot up the McKenzie River this summer on July 18, at the fish hatchery near Leaburg, Oregon USA.
I used my trusty Canon EOS 50D, EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6l IS USM Lens, set at 1/2000sec., F 5.66, ISO 1600, Focal length 135mm to capture this shot.

Wow, What a great shot Chuck. Your focus pin point sharp with dof, exposure and well framed. I think the cold weather has pretty much run the butterflys away from here.
