Mag-ni-fique! I’ve already told my seagull story, but for this photo, I have to tell it again: I was throwing some chips out to the gulls on the beach. I was the only one out there, as it was a weekday, and I’d throw a little and say, “You want some MORE?” and I’d throw more. Then I drove down the beach and stopped to watch the shrimp trawlers out the window of my truck. It was a chilly day. The gulls started landing all around my truck. Then all together they rose as one body, and the spokes gull came up to my window and said clear as a bell, “MORE?…MORE?” I was so stunned, I hopped out and fed them by Vienna Sausages too! It was a wondrous day! I decided the term “bird brain” wasn’t so derogatory!
