Been a few passing through but no large numbers yet here chuck or any othe waterfowl either!

Hi Jade, We have them in the hundreds all around here and a lot of ducks also. It is also hunting season on every other day so I try to hunt in non-hunting areas when they’re doing their thing. How is your new computer doing? My new PC is almost to fast…

I’ve just about got everything transferred from the old pc to the new one which with the new monitor is blindingly fast and bright. You might say I love it! Add the 3.G Internet and I can be online even when I’m out shooting. I’m going to the Philadelphia area the first weekend in Dec to a wildlife preserve that’s on the Atlantic flyway. I’m expecting swans and snow geese and a variety of ducks. I will probably post something from the field if I get anything good!

Good luck on the trip, Jade I will be looking forward to some great wildlife shots..

What a pretty sight to see. I have always loved to see the geese fling North or South.

Then you and Bob would love it here in Oregon when you can come out here for a photo-shoot…

    Wonderful Chuck !
Tracy and I live under a flight-migration path for Canada Geese…they’ve been flying over by the 100’s the past few weeks….always wonderful to see!

  • Chuck Gardner replied 24 days ago

Thanks Les, I’ve see acres of them out here feeding on the new grasses in the fields after our recent rains. Most of the larger Canada ones will stay around here for the winter. The smaller cackler geese will stay for a few months then go on south.

Great shot, Chuck, guess they will keep you out of trouble for the winter. Lol! Dee

Thanks Dee,All the Hunters around here are gearing up for the hunt. A smart goose will stay in the Eugene City limits or in a no hunting public park around Fern Ridge…lol..
