I came to Oregon 38 years ago because my wife and I were going to be parents and we didn’t want to raise our children in Southern California. I loved to hunt and fish, and enjoy the outdoor life that Oregon had to offer my new family. I still love the outdoors, but I now do my wild game hunting with my camera. It’s much safer and a lot more enjoyable and challenging. Plus, I see so many things I missed before, like the beauty of all the small things around me. I can now do my part to save all the beauty that life has to offer in the pictures that I take. I hope everyone can enjoy and benefit from them.
I got interested photography six years ago when my sister gave me a HP PhotoSmart 618 prototype that HP gave her years earlier to evaluate for them. Needless to say, I got hooked. Now that I am retired, I take my camera everywhere I go never wanting to miss a good shot that might turn out GREAT.
Please enjoy my pictures in my portfolio. Your comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to view my work, Chuck Gardner.
