I encountered this scene one cold and foggy December morning on my way to work in Chatham (Kent, UK). I’m glad I had my camera with me.
I left this image deliberately untitled.

Great capture showing everyday life in many large cities, Irina – I find this image very sad for some reason
thank you, Mattie!
for me there is a lot of sadness in this image too…

An excellent image, Irina, very effectively presented in B&W. Its depth is on a number of levels, the first being that achieved by the composition and its perspective. The deeper level is the social comment. Someone who has time and willingness to care for and share what little he may have with others of God’s more humble creations. It would be difficult to imagine an outrageously highly paid CEO of a Multinational company sitting on that bench in the place of that man. 5+ :)george
many thanks for the fav and the wonderful comment, George!
this image speaks of loneliness in old age to me. the man was well dressed (and well kept), and yet he preferred to sit on the cold bench at 8am! the feeding of pigeons could be done at any other time, I think. Loneliness could be on so many different levels…

You know me Irina, the jobs not complete till you give it a title. You wouldn’t have a child & leave it with no name. The artwork is first class & worthy of a title.
If I was going to give this fine artwork a title I think “The Jolly Sailor” would work well.
:o) xx
many thanks for the help, dear! :) I’ll think about it :) xx
