Now, all I need is a THEME SONG!!!
Update: In September of 2010, our sweet sweet beautiful boy was shot and killed in his own yard by a neighbor with a high powered rifle. My heart is crushed. We are devastated. And we will miss him for always.
*"One last word of farewell, dear master and mistress. Whenever you visit my grave, say to yourselves with regret but also happiness in your hearts at the remembrance of my long happy life with you: “Here lies one who loves us and whom we loved.” No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you, and not all the power of death can keep my spirit from wagging a grateful tail."
Eugene O’Neill, from his Dalmatian, Blemie’s, last will and testament (click here for the full version of Blemie’s last will and testament)*
This was the perfect day for playing in the snow. Jakers, one of our rescues, constantly dodged and chased the sleigh riders ALL day. It’s a hard job, but somedoggies gotta do it! (Snow Storm of Dec. 2009)
(Btw, you may not be able to tell here, but he is further off the ground that it appears and his floppy ears don’t normally stand up on their own!

We’re fairly sure he has foxhound but not sure what else. …Maybe, beagle…?

He’s a beauty, nice capture!
Thank you! Yes, he is one healthy dog. Normally he just lays around but on days like this one he is wild.

Super shot, he looks so happpy !
Thanks, Morag. That is one dog that doesn’t want for nothing! He had a great time that day playing and annoying the kids on their sleds. It’s one of the family photos I am thankful to have gotten.

What a cute catch Linda! It would fit right into the Virginia Groups Challenge. 1 day left!
So sorry Linda for the loss of your gorgeous companion. What a tragic story.

A special anniversary feature.
Morage, this means more to me than you can ever know. We miss him still. They say time heals all wounds, so it seems there hasn’t been near enough time to have gone by to heal my pain. Thank you, again for this precious gesture. I thank you for this feature.
