Eucalyptus leucoxylon 'Rosea' by

At least, that’s what I think it is. I took this at my friends property in Bindoon. She has a few acres there and occasionally I go to house sit…lucky me :-) I shall be going up at the end of next months for a week, so hopefully I shall get some more images to upload. A lovely peaceful time.

I took this with my Canon Powershot A550

Wow such a beautiful, interesting plant and flower!

  • Australian native plants are spectacular….especially in Western Australia…we are called the Wild Flower State. So glad you liked this :-)

glorious imagery and wonderful tree. We grow Eucalyptus here, and they have gorgeous barks, but unfortunately no flowers. hugsxxx

  • Thanks Hilary…glad you like this. There are so many types of Eucalyptus, that’s why I said I ‘think’ it’s a ‘Rosea’. I checked by looking through my book of trees. It looked the same…so I hope I was correct.

Such amazing colors! It’s really great to be able to see these blooms that I would never otherwise see as they don’t grow here in Canada.

  • Yep…these are lovely…not just the blossoms but the grey/white bark and the leaves are quite beautiful too. Thanks for leaving me your comment, Gregory….nice to see your avatar again :-)

  • They are lovely, aren’t they? I’m off in a week or so…back to this lovely property to look after it for a week whilst the owner is away. I’m hoping to get some good imagery whilst I’m up there. Thanks for leaving me your comment :-)

    Lovely capture.

  • Thank you, Kerryn. They are quite spectacular when blooming :-) I think I must plant some in my garden…certainly attract birds.
