Maybe I’m just a voice crying in the wilderness…..but I have been close to forgetting all about RB for the last month or so since I cannot get easy access to the site.
Sometimes it simply doesn’t come up when clicked on…other times I get as far as logging in…then nothing.
Yet again, I might get as far as My Bubble and click on a comment someone has left for me…but then it just hangs!!
I’m pretty sure that it’s not my computer playing up as I certainly don’t have any of these problems with other sites I visit.
I’m just wondering if anyone else is having similar problems??
I’ve enjoyed being a part of the RB community, and although I don’t visit the site nearly as often as I used to due to work commitments….I still like to see what’s going on.

I get on OK, and access comments etc, but heaps of pics come up with the default little red X in the corner instead of the photo … thought it was just me???!!!

At least you can get on…as I have just done!! Very unusual for me :-) Thanks for leaving me your comment….Sherianne has mentioned problems with Firefox and some upgrades at RB….maybe I shall have to go back to using IE…I’ve been using Google Chrome for quite some time and like it very much.

Hi Carolyn…nice to see your smiling face :-) I think I may have to go back to using IE instead of Google Chrome (which I love) Will try it out and see if I get any joy. I’m too busy with my little art gallery to do much in the way of arty uploads to RB….by the time I get home and cook dinner, I just want to chill out in front of the box!!

Ditto same as Rosalie – found one of my images recently with one empty box with an x instead of the image coming up, yet it would show up when clicked on to view larger. I have just replaced it by reloading up the image.
Haven’t had any of the other problems you mention.
Can only suggest to contact RB staff direct with your issue.

Thanks for responding Kerry…I actually did try to contact staff when I received a notification that someone had bought a poster of mine. I hit the reply button…explained my problem and never heard a Dickie Bird in response! Oh well….never mind. Thanks again :-)

Hello Irene…how nice to chat with you :-) Yes, I’ve tried everything I could think of…..until Sherrianne mentioned that there are some probs with Firefox and some upgrades by RB….so I think I may just switch back to IE from Google Chrome…see if that helps!! A shame, as I really like Chrome.

Yes, many but it seems only since Firefox added some updates and RB changed the site. The two of those together means that it will only work properly for me on IE which I detest but I use for uploading and there’s no problem on it.

Thanks so much for that Sherrianne….at least I’m not alone with this problem. We may not have exactly the same difficulties….but it looks like I shall have to try out your suggestion of returning to IE.

That’s really strange, because I use Firefox and I’m not having any problems at all. But I do hope whatever the problems are, they are sorted. It’s unfortunate when things like this happen.

Hi Mary, Nice to see your smiling face :-) NO!! I have received no joy at all. Each time I try to contact the ‘powers that be’, I get no-where. The site just hangs and I get no further…which is a real nuisance since I go to the trouble to type up my problem….then it never gets to the place I want it to go!! Grrrr. I’ve just about given up completely with RB. Only go on to the site to see what people are up to. Never mind.

Hi Chris :) its probably the flood of people coming from DA flooding the redbubble galleries with all there work in a mad dash to upload all there stuff because they left DA :) jk anyways i have noticed the same issues as u from time to time! but dont leave!! or forget about RB that wont make it stop!! :hug:

Hi Again Chris, Are you able to see if other bubblers from your area are having the same sort of problems? You know what my husband would say, it’s your computer. Do you have a library close by that you can hop on and see if you have the same problems as yours? Are all the other functions on your computer working, no down time in other sites? i don’t want you to be frustrated!!! Mary

Hi Mary….I realise that would be what a man would say….and I would agree if I had the same problem elsewhere….but I don’e. I have a very good ISP and my connection speed is almost immediate to other sites. RB is the ONLY site I’m experiencing problems with. In fact…I shall be very surprised if this blurb gets through to you :-) Having said that…it probably will!!!!!

Yes, I’ve been having problems for 3 to 4 weeks.. pages not formatting, images not appearing, very very slow even when it works.. like yourself I’m on a fast cable connection in North Carolina and am having no problems with other sites.
Right now.. 5th of July.. the sites barely working..:-(

Hi Terry….I wrote this several months ago and everything seems to be just fine now. I think there may be gremlins in the system sometimes….goodness knows why these things happen. I certainly hope that things get back to normal for you very soon :-)
