Life's Another Beach. Oyster Bay. Tasmania
Taken on a most unusual beach in Swansea, Tasmania. Half the beach was covered with pebbles…the other half golden sand. It was quite deserted and beautiful.
Image taken using my Canon Powershot A550

Thanks very much, Claudia..I have to admit that I’m pleased with this image. It was a lovely beach to walk along…although I was disgusted to find am empty milk carton just thrown there on the beach. Other than that, it was totally pristine. I was a good girl and picked up the offending rubbish and put it into a nearby rubbish bin. I can’t understand why people do that???? Grumble, grumble :

Excellent capture, Chris !!! Perfectly framed and composed, great detail and lovely, rich colours. A very inviting image !!!!
Chris Willis replied
Thanks very much, Phil. This was one of those washed out photo’s that the programme helped me to save. It’s a delightful spot and I was more than happy to be walking along this beach. Thinking about it, I may have to invest in a better camera. I realise it’s more than the camera that makes a good shot, but maybe the quality of the finished image could be improved :-)
