Bristlecone trees are the oldest living things; some are thousands of years old.
This was one of the first trees I photographed 10 years ago and I return often to this spot.

trees are amazing and do draw you back to them time and time again, we have one we visit yearly in the fall before it loses its leaves . thanks for sharing this one it is wonderful !!LIZ
