Stormy Vines

Storm clouds roll over the Villa Maria vinyard in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand. This was taken on a bicycle tour of the vineyards (good idea in theory… not so much in practice!) and luckily we just avoided the rain. The good wine definitely made up for the lack of sunshine!
Taken on a stormy spring day in October 2008 on a Nikon D50.

Hmmm this looks familiar! It looks so much starker in this shot. Love it.
