Medical dilemma

Posted 10 months ago
Back in April I had a few really tough tiring days at work. It was near the end of the month and one day I was so tired I could not drive my bus any farther. I had to call my dispatch and have them come rescue me. I also had friends come and get me and drive my vehicle back to my town. I had four days off and worked one which was difficult even in the morning. I called in sick the next day April…

Rain has fallen to cool down the temps considerably. We were having what for this area was rather hot temps up into the mid 80s. About 30c yikes, now it has dropped all the way to 8c. It is bloody frezing out, cloudy and dreary although the rain has stopped.

meanwhile I have been suffering from RLS (restless leg syndrome) which

Out of work

Posted over 3 years ago
As of january 6th 2009, the company I worked for decided to close the doors on it’s division in Banff. Due to many factors the jobs in my area are few and far between so I am still unemployed at this time.

In the meantime I am doing alot of portrait/portfolio shoots and hoping that someday it will be my source of income.

Keep watching for more images as time permits.

Indian summer or just a Chinook

Went into the city of Calgary yesterday for a photo shoot ,but never happened. One reason was the wind which must have been upwards of 35miles per hour. I thought it would have made some good shots.

So went to the zoo and took animal photos instead. Lots of babies, baby elephant, baby musox, baby gorilla, baby girrafe. Lots of animals were inside becuse of the wind which actulay made it rather col…

Experimenting with HDR

After viewing numerous wonderful HDR works on RedBubble I decided I would like to try it. I have been trying three different programs so far. Can anyone recommend a good one and provide details how you make the image look like a painting.
Examples are barbershop by Mike Savad and numerous other artists.

I know about taking different exposures, I would like to know what the best program is for maki…

WINTER HAS ARRIVED

Posted almost 4 years ago

Yes it snowed a few inches and it is still snowing here in the Canadian rockies near Banff. It is a heavy wet snow making the tree brances bend under the weight.

I am suppose to do art in the park but it may not go. If it does I wil partake if I can find a tarp or tent to cover the table.

This show also goes on tomorrow as it is the last long weekend of the summer.

Sept 30/08- Indian summer seems…

Every year the town of Banff, Alberta invites residents of the “Bow Valley” to partake in the Homegrown art show. The Grand opening was Friday march 28th and lots of people showed up. This is also an opportunity to meet the artists. The exhibhit runs until April 26th.
