My freeform handbags are composed of small knit & crochet “scrumbles” which are individually joined. I then start work on the embellishments. This can mean knit/crochet flowers, corkscrews and edgings, & often the addition of beads, buttons or other baubles. Finally the bag is ready for the lining to be hand stitched into place & the handles to be attached. Each bag is individual in design & the end result of many hours work.
Original bag “Seaweed” has been sold. Similar handbags are available in my etsy shop
yes, i just read it thru and a bit confusing, but i think they are covering all sorts of texture there, i hope that’s what they mean …. give it a go anyway Chris.. i just saw that you had Molten Stitch over there too….
Hi Chris!! Sorry me took so long to drop by! n_n" love this piece.. have you finish stitching already into a bag already? how long did it take to come up with this? it looks so complicated.. =D
I appreciate you stopping by & taking the time to comment. :))
This was a bag I did a while ago & it is now sold. If I work solidly on the one bag it can take a couple of weeks. The problem is knowing when to stop, lol!

I think this and your other textile textured ones would suit this group called Visual Texture
would look beautiful over there…
I’ve got Molten Stitch over there. I’m a bit confused by their rules but I’ll submit it & see what happens.
