A number of my acrylics are for sale at Treasured Interiors at Currumbin Beach (Queensland, Australia). They are $99 each. Go and check them out – grab a coffee next door at the Deck Cafe. Perhaps go during the Swell Sculpture Festival from September 11
Currumbin is an incredible place worth a visit for a few hours or even a few days. Even if you have a 3 hour stop over at the Gold Coast Airport, you can take a cheap cab fare – not even $10 probably, and within minutes you can be sitting at the surf club – which is actually right on the beach below the high water mark!, or Elephant Rock Cafe – with an amazing selection of organic food> Theres the Beach Shack – which was once a shack but is now a Gorgeous eatery with delectable cakes and coffees…anyway there’s a LOT of cafes!!
There are some amazingly original boutiques too, with local and international fashion, art and jewellery, and the way of design Art gallery (who actually have a lot to do with the Swell Festival) have some awesome art too.
You can do a surf lesson, kitesurf lesson, stand-up paddle board lesson..phew the possibilities are endless…or you can just walk along the great boardwalk or the beach. There are lots of accommodation options right there on the beach and further afield too. Don’t even get me started on Currumbin Valley!!! :)
