Monkey Magic was created after researching on 1950s toys, and obsolete and kitsch objects. I was surprised to find that the sock monkey was amongst many of the classic toys that have become forgotten over the years, thus this work was sort of created with sympathy and dedication.

I changed the Magic 8 Ball into a Magic 13 Ball because I wanted to make a reference to the various comics, horror movies, and several Pop Surreal and Lowbrow artworks.
