I love the description and the picture is so fill of vibrant color. Very nice work, Christiane.
Must have been the beautufly day that helped with the words. i was finally able to catch some butterflies today, after climbing through thick wild growth down the side of am embankment in flipflops. Afterwards i was then told that it was filled with snakes and did I see any. So glad you liked this!

We all know better but we still go hiking in flipflops sometimes. I’m glad you didn’t see any snakes. There are the remains of a Cheyenne village that i am dying to photograph but there is big sign at the beginning of the trail that warns of rattlesnakes on the trail. i still haven’t found the courage to go. xxxx
it was a good thing I didn’t know it at them time, earlier I went off through the woods surrounding the lake where bears are routinely sighted. maybe i should wear some boots next time. If I saw signs for rattlesnakes I would make sure I was covered head to toe, make sure someone is with you if you go.

I am going to wear boots. Rattlesnakes get you at the ankle or calf. The trail isn’t well lit so i will take a flashlight. I plan to go tomorrow but we will see how brave I am feeling.
