Well I am finally getting around to putting things on tees. Airborn is a series a skateboard themed shirts I am working on.My son has informed me they look very 90’s.When I asked him if that was good or bad he said the bright colors were 90’s.

Got a happy email this morning – almost forgot to get some new work up in the summer exhibit in the art gallery at the local hospital, whenI got a call to get down there ASAP with some work.So I grabbed three pieces and got them hung. The email was from someone who just visited the gallery and wanted to buy one of them – made my day.

Just wondering when something falls into the art category.
Is it when someone says it is?
Is it when someone thinks its is?
Does it need to have value?
Does it need an explaination?
When it is the cause of controversy?
When it evokes emotion or not?

Just trying to figure out what art really is – for me it is a personal expression of who i am.

What would art be with controversy?Boring I suppose, but when does something cross the line and is nolonger of artist value?Just becaue you have free speech, does that give you the right to insult your fellow human beings? On this Memorial Day weekend I am so very honored to have “God Bless America” to be selected as a featured work in the WAR group. Thanks you so very much, no matter our feelings on war, we need to remember those you have given their lives so that we may be free to live as we choose.

Just wanted thank those you thought enough of my work to feature it in these groups: Spring and Summer in the Northeast and Simply White, Dawn and Dusk Light Group. It is an honor to have my work recognized this way. Life has been a bit hectic lately so this was a bright spot in my day.
