  • christiane replied

it was by accident that I spotted this on the way to work, of course I had to get it, a short while later it was cleared away by some landscapers – I think they should have left it – thanks so very much

Well you captured it’s beauty for posterity. That’s one of the joys of photography to capture moments in time that are fleeting and pass them on to all. Great shot.

That’s one humongous fungus! (Sorry, I’ll try to control myself…) Beautiful pattern and texture, and such a rich, green color! Nice capture, christiane! What I don’t understand is why the landscapers want to remove it, because it seems like a fun-gi (Fungi/fun guy, get it? Okay, I’ll stop now…)

  • christiane replied

your right , is was humungous and green! The landscapers didn’t have a clue and possibly not an ounce of creativity in them. Oh well, maybe on my next trip there I will look to see if came back, maybe bigger this time
