Dutch Countryside by

This flat farmland, broken into fields by trees, is the typical landscape in the region where I live. Sometimes I find it so boring that I am almost not inspired to take photos of it anymore. But then I look at this photo, and it inspires me to go out again to look for new scenes in my Dutch “outback”. Taken in Twente, a region in the east of the Netherlands.

    Great composition, beautiful colours.

The black square is a tiny bit distracting I think (bottom left).

Looks like a really nice quiet place to live though..

I really like the colour range in this and the composition draws the eye in nicely :-))

Hi Pehpsi, yes I agree, Ive been thinking about that aswell, but also: Hmm, maybe I should leave it in there just for fun ;) To distract people :)

Jack, thanks, I agree, the road draws you into the landscape a bit, and even though the horizon is dead center of the photo, in this case I dont mind, because both the part above and below the horizon are interesting.
