Saltwick Bay is located near Whitby on the North Yorkshire Coast of England. It is sometimes referred to as the Jurrasic Coast due to its high fossil content & attracts thousands of fossil hunters each Year. On this particular occasion, I was less than optomistic about recording a decent Sunset image due to a heavy thunder storm. However, my patience payed off as approximately 20 minutes before Sunset the clouds began to break, allowing a warm glow to show through the breaking cloud. This produced what I consider a fitting atmosphere to a Jurrasic Coastline.
