Fringed Lily
Fringed lilies often grow in among the grass and blow around in the slightest breeze, so getting a clean sharp shot can be a challenge, I like the intricate detail in the petals , so getting the DOF placed precisely takes quite a bit of time. They only open once and then only for a few hours and are starting to close by about 2:00pm. Took this shot last December. Try the view larger option for this one.
Canon F1 with 200mm f4 macro, exposure is about 1/15 @ f27.

You have done very well with this shot Chris, I too found these little lillies but they were growing under a heap of trees so in the shade I found it very hard to get enough depth of field, so I appreciate how hard these are to photograph, well done!

One of my all time favourite flowers – I rarely see such a generous cluster. Nice composition.
