Situated on Tasmania’s North East coast, Binalong Bay lays on the southern end of the famous Bay of Fires conservation area. A spectacular piece of coastline, blessed with white beaches and azure oceans it is best known for the orange lichen which grows along its rocky shore. Once home to communities of indigenous Australians, the area received its European name in 1773 as Captain Furneaux of the Royal Navy sailed past, observing their numerous fires burning along the bay.

I believe photography is a form of visual poetry, with the power to transport us through time, opening windows to special fleeting moments, which have long since passed. As you browse my portfolio, I hope that my photographs allow you to escape through these windows, and enjoy the special places and moments that I had been privileged to experience
