This Humpback was showing off in Frederick Sound, Southeast Alaska at the end of August 2006. He was tail slapping here and earlier was slapping his pectoral fin. He ended the day with a distant breach. What a pleasure it was to witness this.

I really need to get out and shoot more Jackie. Hopefully this weekend I will have a chance in Smoky Mountain NP between sessions in Knoxville. Until then shoveling snow and playing with the puppy.
