When I grow up I want to be just like you by

Trevor loves Happy. This is from right after they met almost two weeks ago. Trevor is gaining weight and some of his malnutrition symptoms are becoming much less noticable. He has gained five pounds and is a wild hellion(as puppies should be). He still loves Happy.

Both are American Pit Bull Terriers shot with Canon 7D and Canon EF-S 15-85

Hi, my name is Chris Snyder and I reside in beautiful Western North Carolina, USA. I have been a swim coach since 1990 and have been selling my photography since 2006. My wife and I are avid mountain bikers and also are very involved in animal rescue. We always have a menagerie of some size and makeup. Most of my images are of nature whether wildlife or landscapes. I hope you enjoy.

  • As you know…Happy isn’t always thrilled with the little booger but he is being a super Alpha.

Awe,……an adorable moment between Trevor and Happy! Lovely in Black & white too! I can clearly see some of Trevor’s vertebrae and the lose folds of skin and can only imagine how badly starved he originally was when found. So happy to know that he is in a loving home now! : )

  • Thanks Sandy. He is looking so much better. The techs who were finally able to give him his shots were thrilled with his progress. We got some more information that he was found locked in a dog house sitting in his own filth. He had white spots on his toenails that were from lack of sunlight.
