Laramie, Wild Stallion by Chris Snyder
This is a close encounter with Laramie who has a band of wild horses in the Little Bookcliffs wild horse area near Grand Junction, Colorado. He is a powerful magnificent animal who is very confident in himself. We saw him earlier stalk a cowboy and his dog from across the arroyo.

My great uncle lives in Grand Junction and was just telling me about the wild horses this past summer. Always wanted to go see them, but never got the chance when I was out there. Great Shot!
