Not sure if this coyote was hunting wabbits or not. Unsuccessful in the pounce that occurred a second after this shot. Shot right after a snow storm in late May 2008. Canon 40D with 500mm f4.

    Thanks Jay. I should have bumped the ISO up but I was warming up in a good Samaritan’s van when I spotted him. Didn’t stop and check my settings until he or she was gone.
