Mountain Bluebird, Yellowstone
This small pond in the Lamar Valley, Yellowstone had several of these strikingly blue(of course) mountain bluebirds fluttering around in the bushes surrounding the water. This individual was braving the sleet and snow. I looked around for these birds for the next several days and never saw them in these numbers again.

Thanks Dave. They are more brilliantly blue and a bit larger than our Eastern Bluebirds. I love the Eastern ones too with their orange breasts.
