Teamwork
A group of nine Humpbacks bubble-netting near Tenakee Springs, Alaska. The most amazing wildlife experience that I have witnessed. We had a sonarphone in the water and heard the singing during the set up and the trumpet indicating it was done. A mystical experience.

It really was an exciting day. We had the sonarphone off the zodiac in the water and we could hear the set-up singing and then the trumpet which told us to watch for where the sea gulls were heading for the “eruption” We had to have seen this behavior eight times at this location. We had a full breach to boot.

It must be very deep water and so close to shore? Was this an expected out come for your expedition or once in a life time experience. AWESOME!!

We didn’t think we were going to see this behavior so soon. We did see an even larger group in Frederick sound about six days later doing this too. It really was an amazing experience.
