Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

    Fantastic image and treatment Chris!
Getting colder here in Brighton…log fires all around!
    P
    xx

  • So nice to hear from you Polly, hope you are doing well and not working too damn hard!! It was getting chilly already when I left in September so I can imagine what it’s like now! No log fires here unfortunately, I have to settle for awful skin-drying steam powered central heating. But at least we have heat! Pleased you liked this one, I came away with some good material this last trip. We didn’t go off on long trips as my Mum is getting too creaky but we did spend great times up and down the coast a bit wherever my months bus pass would take us and I really took advantage of everything that Brighton has to offer! Cheers.

Awesome capture, Chris!!! It looks like a fun place to be.

  • It is a great town now JR, back when I grew up in the 50s & 60s it was still recovering from WWII and was a lot bleaker and sadder. It has become very cosmopolitan with two universities and various art schools etc. Plus it’s right on the coast but also in the beautiful south downs so you have beaches and countryside right close by. I love to go back and visit now. Thank you for the great comment, cheers.
