A Lancaster bomber returns homeward mission accomplished

Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

    Fantastic treatment Chris, into faves.
All last week during the unveiling of Bomber Command Memorial, in London the commentators were saying “missions” but the RAF flow ops (operations) or sorties, while the USAAF flew missions.
    Cheers Neil

  • Haha, comes from living in the states for too damn long Woodie! :-) You’ll have to excuse this ex-pat for that error. I have no such excuse for those commentators though! I’ll be over for five weeks come mid August so maybe I’ll relearn to talk correctly. Thanks so much for the great comment and especially for the fave, cheers.
