Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s accordion style 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye.

Well at least they are dressed for it!! LOL Awesome capture!!
But remember this is England not California – they will be unpleasantly cold if they are wet and in just a bathing suit – or at least I would be! Those temps are in the 50s at best. Brrrrrrr….. Still those healthy stiff upper lipped Brits won’t mind I suppose. :-) Me? I’ve been spoiled and had ALL my clothes on! It was fun to visit and photograph. Thanks for YOUR visit John. Cheers.

This is a great thing for at least two reasons – One is that it’s very nice to see you back hosting Pat and I’m hoping very much that it means you are very much recovered. And two, WOW, I’m excited and honored to be featured, especially so quickly. I barely saved the image in PS and here we are! Cool!

No kidding! But I love visiting England in August, I get so many great cloud pictures these days. August used to be the sunny month, school holidays and everybody’s time off. But the seasons are changing somehow and the sun comes earlier in the year now, August is a wonderful blustery time with lots of short lived showers but fabulous skies for photography. And don’t worry about the English – they complain when it gets hot (over 75 for five minutes is a “heat wave”) :-) Thanks for the comment, cheers.
